CD/DVD Guidelines

Safety Margins: Text and important images must fall within the red boxes.Extending important elements beyond these lines can cause problems during cutting, folding and assembly. Parts of images on text can end up being trimmed off or fall directly on the fold.

Cut Lines: This is approximately where your artwork will be trimmed. Keeping all text and important images inside the 1/8th inch safety margins will prevent their unintended loss during cutting

Bleeds: This area is going to be completely trimmed away during the cutting process. Only solid colors, background images on the foreground images that intentionally run off the page should extend through this area. Having bleeds ensures that your artwork will not have a thin white folders around it.

Folds: De very careful when running any text or important text over folds. Text, especially text under 9pt can be hard to read if it is falling on the fold.

My Dream home

1 Million Dollars

If I was given 1 million dollars today I would be so happy. I would give my Church so money to help with the funds. Then I would buy my both my parents a new car of there selection. I would also buy them 1 houses a peace which would have enough bedrooms for my sisters and I. Then I would make sure that I would have enough money aside for the bills.

Further more I would also take my two sisters and parents shopping. I would let them get everything they would want and need.After all that is out the way I would put some money in my sisters and I collage funds. Lastly with the rest of the money I would give it to people who don't have homes.

My Perfect Vacation

To me the prefect vacation would be to Jamaica. I always wanted to go there. That place is so beautiful and calm(well in some parts). I heard that the water in the ocean is clear and you can see always to the bottom of it.

I would pick that place out of every other place to go because its so nice there. My cousin once went there and she said that the experience was just so great. She also said she went horse back riding on the beach and snorkeling. Those are the two things I always wanted to do so every sense then I had my eyes set on going to Jamaica.

What If?

What if there were no rules in school for just one day? I don't think that it would be that bad. I believe that we all know right from wrong and we wouldn't do anything that crazy. It would just be the best day ever!

I think that it would make us feel real responsible. Just know that you can do whatever you want, but by you also knowing some thing you just cannot do it just gives you a sense of responsibility. For example there was a time when I couldn't stay home alone because people thought that I would burn the house down.

Further more, when they did let me stay home I knew what and what not to do. I mean the house was still standing when my parents got home so I had to do something right. In result I believe if there were no rules in school for a day it wouldn't hurt.

My Favorite Class

I would have to say the computer is my favorite class. Computer is my favorite class because it's just so fun. Ever sense I was young I always liked creating things. Before I came to this school I used to get art class at my other school and art class was just the best class cause there was no mistakes in art.

Further more creating things was just always my thing. For example when I was living whit my father in West Virginia I once made this marble ramp thing and it was so cool. The point of my little project was to watch as a marble went through all these tunnels made out of a little bit of everything and I made this at home, all by myself too. In result I my favorite class is computer class because I get t be creative.

That special someone

The person that I look up to and has had a great impact in my life is my older sister Latise. She has made who I am today. I believe that without her I would have done somethings that I shouldn't even be thinking about doing. I know that some times she may get on my nerves and make me made through it all at the end of the day she is the one that I look up to.

For instance at one point I would always talk back to adults, not like in a smart way but just go word for word hen all I had to do is shut up. Until one time she caught me about to say something and she cut me off. She took me in the room and said if you don't say anything she will just talk and sooner or later she will just be talk to herself. To me she made a good point cause my grand mom would just talk and talk and talk until it was time to go to bead. Furthermore she has just taught be to be a better person.

My Candle

My Weekend

My weekend was the best. On Friday I just went home and did what I do(nothing). The next day I met up wit Chanett and we went to the mall. We had so much fun. Plus my other friend Kesa met us in Hollister.

From there we went to the store Garage and met up Lexus and her friend. then was just going in all of the stores and getting stuff. So then we chilled at the food place in the mall. We ate until we were full.

Next Lexus friend had to leave so she left and we sat at the table for a couple of minunte's........Then we just walked around until we went to a store to try on some dresses for fun. We picked up all these dresses and just tried them on and took pictures. It was the funnest because Lexus couldn't fit any of the dresses that she picked so Kesa and I kindly took them from her.

We just had the best time ever. Then like the whole time Kesa was making us laugh. She was acting up. Oh but let me tell you how while we where trying on the dresses one of my teachers came in and was like "Loni, Lexus, and Kesa" we just knew who it was when we heard her voice. So we like came out the dressing room and said hi and stiff. Then we walked around the mall for a little bit. Then left.................It was so fun.

"Pop Dots"

Step:1)Open your image. Put a seclection around the part on the image image that you would like to put the pop dots around.(Inverse if you need to)

Step:2)Press apple J twic. Put a secletion around layer two.

Step:3)Go under th seclet menu, under modify, and choose Expand. Emter 10 pixels and click OK.

Step:4)Press "d" to swich your swatches to the defult colors. Option+Delete.

Step:5)Press the letter "Q" to enter Quick Mask mode. Go under the filter menu, under pixelate, and choose color halftone. Click OK.

Step:6)Keep your filter intil you are satisfied with the results.(no less than 10). Tap the letter "Q" to leave quick mask mode.

Step:7)Option+Delete. Deselect your image.

Family

When I think of the word family I think of love. I believe that anything or anyone should come between family. I think that family should be unbreakable. For example my family is the type to stick together throw thick and thin. No matter what at the end of the day we are all we have. Furthermore when I was in the third grade I had this friend who would always be around me and that was my best friend. Well one time her and my sister had got in to an argue meant and I was just the middle man. Until my friend to make me choose. I then had to think about how was with me all my life and helped me throw a lot of things. Not only that but at the end of the day it would be me and my sister not me and my friend. So I told my so called friend "blood was thicker than water". On top of all that I always knew that family was and will always be first. I also believe that if you don't have family, what do you have. So in result I believe that family is first..........

snow day

Drama for the day/conflict

To day had the most drama in it, it was like a day like on other. It all started when we had social studies and everyone was upset because of our teacher. Then people kept talking so we had to stay against the wall. Then after lunch and everything we had math. That's where everything started. It was so unexpected. Well what happened was some girls in my class made a really smart joke about another girl in my class and it really upset her. I was even upset that the joke was even said. I felt as tho the girls where very disrespectful and out of order for saying the stuff that they did. Then the girl began to cry and I felt her pain like it really was a mean joke. Then at first when I asked her she said that she was OK but I knew otherwise. Then it actually became a big thing when we got into rela class. It happened so fast like I was dumbfounded. The girl went in the hall way to cry and the girls who made her cry began to get mad. Which I really didn't understand. Furthermore well one thing lead to another and all I know is that they were about to fight in the hall. One of my class mates had to hold the door close so that they couldn't reach each other. When I looked around for the girl who also played the joke to was not in the class room. Tell me why this girl went to a teacher to clear her name. I was like "o no you ain't slick". I confronted her and mad her look dumb cause she tried to clear her name so that she wouldn't get in to trouble. I caught her butt in the act and I sad "if they get into trouble best believe you are too". So yea that was my drama for the day.

Respecting the opposite sex

To me respecting the opposite sex means to not make the opposite sex feel disrespected. For example I know that I sometimes hit or say something to the opposite sex to make them feel some type of way. I may hit them for saying something that I felt as tho was dumb. I believe that I do that because I think that they won't hit me back, or not as hard anyway. I do know that one of these days they are gonna hit me back as if I were one f them. I also need to work on what I say to the opposite sex that may offend them. I don't be really meaning it just make me really mad when they when they do dumb stuff. For example one time I someone say something about me that really heart my feelings, like I was so mad. and I realize that I need to work on it.

self reflect

When I think of self reflect I believe that I dos my best at being a good person. I'm not going to lie I do fall short some times be I do whatever I have to, to make it right. For example when I had found out about this person I knew was talking to my cousin I was upset. So I told my aunt to watch out for her because I knew what she did to people in the past. So the girl found out that I had said s something to my aunt about her past and she addressed me about it. She felt as though I was wrong for telling her past. So I told her that I only said something to my aunt because I knew about your past and it was not like I went into details. I What type of family would I be if I just let he do the same things she did to other boys to my cousin and not say nothing. I kindly told her that I was just looking out for my family. After a while she understood where I was coming from. In a way I do believe that I could have handled it in a different way. I could have just told him(my cousin) instead of telling my aunt. Furthermore I do believe that I am OK when it comes to self reflect.

Free write:Loyalty

To me loyalty means trust worthy. It also means someone who you can rely on. I believe that all real friends should be loyal. Who wants someone who you can't trust.

The word reminds me of this incident I had in the 3 grade. I had this friend who i thought who I could tell anything to. Well one time I told her something that was so private and I didn't want anyone to know. Tell me why the next day it was going all around the whole school. People kept coming up tome asking me was I ok. I was so upset.

From then on I begun to choose my friends wisely. If you don't have a loyal friend you don't have a friend at all. How can you possibly have a friend who would tell everything that you told them. I guess what I'm to say is loyalty to me means a lot and with out it you don't have any type of relationship what so ever, weather its friend, or more than friend..
