*PRESENTATIONS- are sequence of slides, also called pages or screens, that usually incorporate text. sound. graphics and animations. The term presentation here refers to a specific kind of multimedia porductions, a digital slide show presentation.
*Presentations generally have limited amounts of text, often written as lists with bullets or symbols in front of each point. By animation the text, the information can be viewed one point at a time, with the text moving onto th screen in a variety of ways.

*TUTORIALS are popular forms of computer-based in struction that teach skills or procedures. Tutorials can be used for educational or training purposes. Tutorials generally use all of the elements of multimedia tex, graphics, sound and video.

*SIMULATIONS are computer-based models of real-life situations. They are often used when the 'real thing' is dangerus or requires access to locations or materials that are not easily accessible to the user.
*SIMULATIONS are usally interactive. If something is interavtive it allows the users choice to affect the outcome of the experience. They often use animations, vidoe and sound to reproduce the enironment or situation the simulation is imitating.
