*A rubric is a scoring guide composed of set criteria used to evaluate a students performance product and/or project.

1.)Introduction:(a)Grins the attention of the audience. (b)Clearly identifies the topic.

2.)Preparation:Completely prepared, has obviously rehearsed the speech.

3.)Enthusiasm:Facical expression and body language convey strong enthusiasm and interest.

4.)Eye Contact:Eye contact with audience virtully all the time(exsept for brief glances at notes).

5.)Use of language:Use of language contributes to effectiveness of speech, and vocalized pauses(um,uh,er)not diatracting.

6.)Confidence:Speeaks neither too quickly nor too slowly.

7.)Clarity:Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time, no mispronounced words.

8.)Topic:Well focused, creative and appropriate.

9.)Attire: Shirts neatly tucked in skirts and/or pantd. No distractig jewelry or accessories.

10.)Cues:Cues the audience that end of the speech is at hand. Brings clousure. Memorable.

11.)Time:Within alluted time.

Technology

Is technology making mankind lazy?
An important point is that it does help us do what ever we have to do every day. As evidence when we have to do resurch on a person, 9 times out of 10 we look it up on the computer. In some cases you have to look up a animal. Afterall i'm sure that a lot of people including me think that it's easy and better.

I think that it is making us lazy though. For instance when I don't know what a word means, my dad always says go on the computer and look it up. I mean what ever happend to a good old dictionary, not that I have a problem with it. Furthermore everything that most people say has to do with technology. Clearly what I am trying to say is that people are getting lazy because of technology.

When you look at web pages on the internet, many of them are actually examples of multimedia porjects. Name 3 web pages other than myspace, youtube and google videos that are great examples of multimedia.

Why are web pages that use a combination of text, images and sound more interceting than those that just use text?

*I think they have those things to make more people to go to there web pages. I also think they do that so that we won't get bord on there pages.

Jena6 support

*I think that the march was important because it was a way to show the jena 6 that we were on there side . I also think that it was a way to tell the people that put them in jail that we are not pleased. I think that the jena 6 needed the support too. Further more I think that they need to know that we are here for them. As we were walking people were honking there horns... I think that they honked there horns at us because they wanted us to know that they are on our sides to let us know they support jean 6 too. There were also on lookers I think they thought that we are very supportive of the jena 6. As I was walking I Know that I did not give my all cause I was still a little sleepy and upset at the time.

*GAMES-are another type of multiimedia. They are played by manipulating images on a moniter or television screen. Games rely strongly on sound, graphics, animations and video for pompts, feedback and settings.

*WEBPAGES- Web pages can be used for enterainment, informing, tutoring, research and reference. Web pages csn make use of all of the best elements that multimedia has to offer.

Citizenship

I feel that citizenship is when you take part in very thing that goes on. Maybe not every thing but most of what goes on. In addition I also think that helping the poor is too. In fact I would not mind helping the poor sometimes.

*PRESENTATIONS- are sequence of slides, also called pages or screens, that usually incorporate text. sound. graphics and animations. The term presentation here refers to a specific kind of multimedia porductions, a digital slide show presentation.
*Presentations generally have limited amounts of text, often written as lists with bullets or symbols in front of each point. By animation the text, the information can be viewed one point at a time, with the text moving onto th screen in a variety of ways.

*TUTORIALS are popular forms of computer-based in struction that teach skills or procedures. Tutorials can be used for educational or training purposes. Tutorials generally use all of the elements of multimedia tex, graphics, sound and video.

*SIMULATIONS are computer-based models of real-life situations. They are often used when the 'real thing' is dangerus or requires access to locations or materials that are not easily accessible to the user.
*SIMULATIONS are usally interactive. If something is interavtive it allows the users choice to affect the outcome of the experience. They often use animations, vidoe and sound to reproduce the enironment or situation the simulation is imitating.

Jena6

I believe that what they did was very wrong. For example it's like if one of my little cousins wanted a cup of water, and the other wanted one too and I only gave one of them a cup of water, that would be wrong. In fact I know I would not want that to happen to me. I also know that a white person would not want us black people to do what they did to us. Therefore why do that to us, like whats the meaning?

Caring

I feel that caring is when you show that you are very concern. Maybe that you love that someone or something a lot. In addition, say if you are going to a party and you tell your mom and she starts asking you a lot of questions, she is showing you that she cares. In fact my mom does the same thing .

Wisdom

An important point of wisdom is that you use it as good, cause there are a lot of people who use it to do dad things. As evidence as some people are they use it to make things that blow up. In some cases they sometimes use lab stuff and put it in needles. After all if I had wisdom like that i would use it to do things so that I could be sussesful in life.

Violence

It seems like violence is takeing over . As an illustration now and days it seems like all the ever talk about on the news some one getting killed or hurt very badly. Although they are trying to stop it . I think they just need to stop sellin guns altogeather. Surprisingly it seems like they are trying a little harder to make things better.

Family

I believe that family is the most important thing I also believe that you stick with them no matter what. For example if one of your friends got into a disagreement and started yelling at each other, you don't just take up for your frined and say that your cousin was wrong. You sit down and talk about it to your cousin and tell your friend to cool down, and say "don't talk to my cousin like that", and say "we can still be friends but don't disrespect my family like that".Therefore it should not ever happen again. However sometimes family can be wrong but you should just sit down and talk to them about it .But that's what families got to go through. That's what I believe a family is.

Peace

I wonder if peace is when you try to stop something bad from happening. If not letting your friend fight someone or do something way worse. Even though many people may think that peace is something you have when it is quiet. In short just like that saying 'peace and quiet' well I think that the word peace means to keep everything going easy and or safe.

Multimedia is the combination of still and moving images, text and sound by means of computer techchnology.
Multimedia is frequently used on the internet.
The internet is a network of computers all over the world that are connected to each other.
A web page is a location on the internet.
Worlds-Pretty much all mulitimedia projects include words . The words can be written,spoken or sung. Multimedia projects do not always include sound,but generally do include text. The text might be in the form of paragraphs or it might glide across the screen.
Images-multimedia projets nearly alwaays include images. Some images you might put in a multimedia project are drawings,charts,diagrams,paintings,photographs,buttons and arrows.
Animation is motion of a image or text.
Sound- In multimedia, live or recorded sound is referred to as audio-And multimedia can take the form of speech, such as a voice over narration.
Video- Video consists of live recorded images and is found in many mutimedia projets . On the internet you can find examples of recorded video

Computers

I believe that using computers is better than writting things down. For example on a computer you type and on paper you write and your hand writting is not always neat. Therefore you can't mess up on the computer so it is better. However writting stuff down could be better in many different ways.

My weekend

I fell that my weekend was fun . Maby a little crazy cause my aunt just had her new baby boy. In addition he is so cute but anyway now there is never a time in the hous that i am not doing nothing. I fact it fells kind of good that I get to help take care of my little cousin.

Technology

I think of computers when I hear the word technology.For instance there is knowledge in technology and a computer has lots of knowledge.Further more on computers you can look up lots of different things.Clearly I think of an computer when i hear the word technology.

What I learnd

I think yesterday I learend that you always have to follow directions.For instance when I was taking a test yesterday and I did not follow the first direction.Further more I kept going and as soon as I reaches the bottom the last on said that,that I only had to proplems 1 &2 and the firt direction said "read every thing befor you do anything".Clearly I did not follow direction.

My Goals

I believe that this year i will do my best and work my hardest to get all @'s.For example every test we get i will study every day befor the test.Therefore i will/should know every question on the test.However there is a chance that i don't get all the questions right but i will try my best.
